Economic restructure and policy changes in China have inevitably leaded to sharply economic imbalance in urban and rural development. A large number of farmers, for various purposes, flooded across urban areas from poor countryside, and now has developed into a part of cities can not ignored. Issues of migrant workers has become a hot and unavoidable topic now since they made a huge contribution to the construction of cities and failed to be treated as citizens. Meanwhile, issues of migrant workers have caused widespread concern for the whole society. Taking the literary and art circles for instance, a huge mass of literary works has been produced reflecting the lives of migrant workers. So does the movie and television industry, which has injected fresh vitality into television art. In addition, the unique realistic character in migrant workers’ Teleplays has a depth rather than the prevalence of contemporary entertainment atmosphere.As a performance object, the migrant workers Teleplays deep into the bottom of society to confront the social reality and present the ups and downs of the lives of migrant workers by the way of recording to show their strong, simple, kind, optimistic and quiet grassroots spirit. This paper mainly studies general history of migrant workers teleplays, explores the evolution of its aesthetic characteristics, and works on the existent problems and developing means through three aspects to have a systematically longitudinal comparative study of migrant workers teleplays. The author will not only summarize the entire artistic evolution of that kind of teleplay but also highlight the analysis of a certain typical artistic feature to grasp greatly the artistic evolution principles, analyze its creation rules, existent issues and prospects, which maybe play a referent role in the production and appreciation of this sort of teleplays.
