In the17th CPC National Congress,the cultural construction is mentioned as the national strategy forits being the national soft power.With its becoming the key factor for the competition of the comprehensivenational power,the cultural construction plays a more and more important role in the society and atractsmore and more attention.In the future,whoever seizes the commanding height of the cultural developmentwill hold the strong cultural soft power and win the initiantive in the fierce competition in the futureeconomy. Henan is a province with abundant cultural resources,which provides solid foundation for theaim that Henan will become a powerful cultural province put forward by the Henan Provincial Committe.In2004,Henan province put forward the project of building a powerful cultural province.In2009, Henna setup eight provincial cultural pilot site so as to propel and speed up the cultural construction.Based on this,the cultural undertaking or all kinds of business related to it developed greatly in Hennan.The Red Culture has an incomparable role in the abundant cultural resources of Hennan.To put muchmore attention to the study of the Red Culture of Henan, we should excavate the inner value of the HenanRed Culture and carry forward its function for the ideological and political education,which can helpcultivate more professional talents and provide moral support for constructing a harmoniousprovince.Besides,the study of the development of the Red Cultural business and the exploitation of it aseducational and tourrism resources can guide the Red Culture develop better. What’s more,the study canalso facilitate the Red Culture a better role in constructing the powerful cultural province and promote itsbettter interaction with the economy of Henan.This will be significant to the economicaldevelopment,industry shift,economic region construction of the central plains. Besed on the investigation and documents, this thesis mainly makes an systematic study on theHennan Red Culture’s position and development in constructing the powerful cultural province. Thecontents of the study consists of the Hennan Red Culture’s connotation,posiotion and present situation,developing principles and researching method.This thesis mainly contains five chapters. The first chapter makes a summarization of the RedCulture.,such as its essential connotation, the research of its historical origine and the classification of it.The second chapter study the Red Culture’s position and roles in constructing the powerful culturalprovince. It presents the significance and urgency for people to realize the exploitation of the Hean RedCulture. The exploitation of the Red Culture is very important, which is not only a long-range politicalproject but also an benifiting or economical project that bring people so much benefits and gatheringpeople’s spirit project.The third chapter mainly investigates the present insituation of the Henan Red Culture to construct.First, according to the analysis of the development conditions of the Red Culture by SWOT, we can gainthe favorable and adverse factors for the exploitation of it so that we can find the potential problems andchallenges to make the development strategy clear by making the most of its advantages and overcomingits weakness in the coming exploitation. Second, this chapter also presents analysis of the achievements ofthe Henan Red Culture. Finaly, it makes a full research of the shortage existing in the exploitation of theHenan Red Culture.The fourth chapter generally presents the princples in the exploitation of the Red Culture inHenan.Owing to its speciality and non-renewablity,we should insist the correct principles at the beginning.To realize its sustainable development and give better play of it,we should underline the three principles,that’s to say, we should stick to the scientific development, the combination of the Red Culture and the eco-culture and local cuture, the unity of the heritage and innovation in the coming exploitation of it.The fifth chapter mainly gives some suggestions on the methods to exploit the Red Culture after carefulreflection. The third is toconvert the traditional static pattern of development into the modern dynamic developing style. The fourthis expand the developmental space of it to strengthen combination and cooparation between differentregions. The fifth is to intensify the industrialization of it to improve the economic power of the Henan RedCulture.
