Adaptation is a reflection of the process of interaction between the individual and the environment and its relationship. Adaptation is particularly important for college students who are initially formed in the life and world view and the rapid development of self-awareness as an important indicator to measure individual mental health. The practical significance of this study lies in its achivements, which provide focused and effective help free normal education management working. Meanwhile, it is engaged that psychological analysis and psychological strategy to this special group of free normal students’adaption, providing effective guidance and help. As a basis for timely and effective psychological interventions, so that free education for freshmen cleat direction of their future development,and promoting the individual’s physical and mental growth. This special group of free education for students as the adaptation of the new era can be different for individual psychological resolution to find psychological strategy to provide effective guidance and help, and the ability to take this as the basis of psychological intervention in a timely and effective manner so that the free education for freshmen to clear the direction of their future development to promote the individual’s physical and mental growth.The main conclusions are as follows:1. Interpersonal relationships, school adaptation, self-adapt to the latitude of free education for students significantly lower than the national norm; the adaptation to learning and career, emotional adjustment, satisfaction, free education for students was significantly higher than the national norm.2. Girls to adaptation in campus life and self-adaptation were better than boys.3. The only child to adaptation was significantly better than non-only child in addition to adaptation to learning and career.4. Adaptation of free education for students in art and physical was better than in literature and history, science and engineering students.
