At present,"Chinese Fever"is rising up all over the world.The task of theChinese teaching is increasingly difficult as the carrier of culture. And thecharacteristics on combination of a variety of art forms which conform to therequirements of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Language concentration offilm and television works is highly and communication environment is natural.Theform and content of language has extremely rich cultural connotation,the learnershave a powerful attraction and appeal.The Setting of the video class can greatlypromote and improve students language learning and cultural awareness.Firstly,the article discusses the feasibility of video data in teaching Chinese as aforeign language based on the previous studies.And respectively introduces from twoaspects.One is theoretical basis,the other is practical application.Then it furtheranalysis the advantages of and the problems in the process of application areexpounded.Secondly, it discusses the concrete application of video data in teaching Chineseas a foreign language, mainly from the resources in teaching the application principleand application steps.The content of resources with strong openness when the learnerare watching a movie,they can cultivate language sense and logic in the process ofunderstanding by themselves.Then, it puts forward strategies and procedure that combined with practices basedon summarizing of research results.Finally, the article introduces application of the movie of "secret" as an examplein Chinese teaching class.
