Subjectivity is one of the common features of human language, It is reflected in all aspects of language. Subjective quantity is redefined here as the embodiment of the subjectivity of languages in the category of quantity and a kind of quantity with subjective perception, attitude and evaluation. It is a kind of important expression means of modern Chinese,and it is also the same in Korean expression. In this paper, we will make a contrast research about the typical expressions of subjectivity in Chinese and Korean, and for the further investigation,we will try to find out the similarities and differences between these two languages.The thesis is composed of five parts in all, and the detailed contents as follows:The first part is a summary of predecessors’ research work.The second part compares the semantic features of Chinese and Korean subjective quantity adverbs.The third part compares the syntactic expression of Chinese and Korean subjective quantity adverbs.The forth part compares pragmatic functions of Chinese and Korean subjective quantity adverbs.The conclusion part sums up the main points of this paper.
