This artical based on the investigation to the problem of "Pacify the bandits in the Jiao mountain ", discusses the interactive relationship between The rebellion and Social change. Through to the investigation of "YanYi","county magistrate" missing and people impression, the artical first analyzes social background of Jiao city. The second part, from the perspective of the "thief status analysi the cause of the rebellion, the article points out that the rebellion is caused by the combination of the geographical and humanistic environment, changes like the central government policy, uneven local society taxes, damageion of organizations at the grass-roots level, livelihood difficulties which are caused by the qing dynasty replaced the Ming dynasty, are the causes of people becoming the bandits and change triggered unrest. The third part discussess the social changes which are caused by the rebellion. Article first analyzes why Ji Shi Zhao putting down the rebellion:In Kangxi Dynasty Jiao mountain is considered to be the source of bebellions, Jiao mountain is under control of Jiao city is widely accepted, and Ji Shi Zhao’s uninhibited personality, the above factors are promoting Ji Shi Zhao putting down the rebellion of Jiao mountain. Second, through the suppression and fondle measures, Ji Shi Zhao set up a complete set of defense system to strengthen the military force; At the same time make the so-called "rogue" into the government control, make "bandits’changing into "people", expand the control range of the government, and the "thief zone" is bencoming "administrative division", measures like the construction of academies, propagandaion of Kangxi discipline are changing the local folkway, promoting the development of culture education.
