Encoding and retrieval are two important stages in the process of memory processing.Most previous studies have confirmed that ERP dissociation between implicit and explicit memory at retrieval, but about both separation at encoding is not consistent.In order to explore the difference processing mechanism of implicit and explicit memory at encoding,Experiment one use a DM paradigm and the two forced-choice recognition paradigm,the study project is effectively divided into four categories:the remember project is choose the study words and show confidence level to remember,the know project is select study words and show confidence to be know,the priming project is choose the study words and show the confidence to be guess,the forget project is not choose the study words and show the confidence to be guess.The results showed that implicit and explicit memory’s Dm effects have both independent and shared components.They share a200-300ms prefrontal positive-going Dm effects and a200-300ms occipital positive-going Dm effects.Explicit memory involved a40G-500ms prefrontal and a400-900ms left parietal positive-going Dm effects,implicit memory involved a700-900ms central and a800-900ms temporal negative-going Dm effects.Therefore,explicit memory process-specific alliances is the prefrontal-parietal positive-going Dm effects,reflect the control processing at encoding,so these words can be retrieved explicitly.And implicit memory process-specific alliances is the prefrontal-central-temporal negative-going Dm effects,reflect the automatic processing at encoding,so these words can be encoding into the perceptual representation system.In order to further explore the neural separation under the condition of the disturb,Experiment two setting two disturb task at encoding,which is percept and concept disturb.The results show the further ERP dissociation between explicit and implicit memory at encoding. In these two difference disturb task at encoding, explicit memory Dm effects disappear completely due to the disturb damage,but implicit memory Dm effects displays different at two disturb condition.In the percept disturb condition,implicit memory involved a400-800ms central and left temporal negative-going Dm effects,which maybe reflect automatic processing at encoding,so these words can easy to encoding into the perceptual representation system.And in the concept disturb condition,implicit memory disturb effects clearly,which is involved a200-800ms central positive-going Dm effects,which maybe reflect the unconscious control processing at encoding,so these words can be automatic remembered.
