In today’s economically ever-developing world, international business activities have become increasingly frequent, and the English used in such activities is called Business English.The thesis is an introspective research report, based on two C-E translation projects, both business-related. The projects have been completed by the author, guided by the supervisor. The total number of words is11,600.The thesis, guided by Nida’s functional equivalence, uses a lot of examples to discuss the features and translation methods of Business English. This is to provide guidance for translators and relevant learners, and to attract more scholars to follow Business English and its translation with interest.There are five chapters in the thesis. The first chapter is the introduction of the projects’ background and summary. The second chapter is the review of the translation process and a brief introduction of the principle and methods used in the translation. The third chapter uses examples to discuss the features of Business English. The fourth chapter analyzes and discusses the main principle (Nida’s functional equivalence) and a few translation methods adopted to achieve the principle, mainly according to the author’s projects and the translations, also uses a lot of examples. And the last chapter is the conclusion.
