The Translation Report On Subtitle Of Inception

This report is a report on translation the subtitle of the film Inception. Subtitletranslation is a new field of translation in China. In subtitle translation, on one hand,we must as try to keep language features of the source language culture and absorbforeign language characteristic; on the other hand, we must abide by the nativecultural tradition. This report is divided into four parts. The first part, to introduce thecharacteristics and the background culture of subtitle, connection between subtitletranslation and interpreting, and translation practice research method. The second part,to discusses the influence, characteristics and cultural background of the film"inception", problems during subtitle translation. The third part, to analyzes the basicprinciple in the process of subtitle translation, and all kinds of translation problemsencountered in the process of translation, and the process to solve the problem of thetranslation. The fourth part, is a summary of the report.
