As listening skill is an important language skill, the quality of thelistening teaching materials plays a vital role in TCFL. Domestic comparisonstudy on listening materials in TCFL began around ten years ago, among whichonly few research on comparing the elementary listening textbooks in TCFL.Taking into consideration the psychological characteristics of theforeign Chinese learners, by referring to the compilation principles of TCFLtextbooks, and by applying the approaches of data analysis, comparison andargumentation, we made thorough comparison analysis and interpretiveevaluation on three sets of elementary listening textbooks, DevelopingChinese·Elementary Listening(Edition2), Scenery·Elementary Listening,Chinese Listening Course (Edition).Based on these, we propose a theoreticalconstruction of compiling elementary listening textbooks in TCFL, mainly onexercise design. |
