As an extension for human reality space, Cyberspace enriches the forms andcontent of human interaction. However, when the physical body is absent,μCyberspace triggers a series of moral issues. The changing of living space hides thetrue identity of cyber citizens, which brings us the question of self-identity,and theanarchistic and acentric characteristics of cyberspace amplify the human beings·scope of freedom. However, the absence of physical bodyμ can lower people·ssense of responsibility. We can present our self-identity with signs and symbols, andwe can apply meanings to websites, nevertheless, we have complicated theconstruction of self-identity. In fact, the body in cyberspace had never beensuspended or exiled, but concealed and extended. Therefore, it is very necessary todiscuss the moral issues triggered by cyber technology. The thesis not only excavates and interprets moral issues in cyberspace fromphilosophical perspective, but also expands the microscopic analysis of real lifecases. From a postmodern perspective, the concept of bodyμ gives a newunderstanding of framework from diversity, situations and openness of the body tocyberethics. Firstly, the thesis discusses the balance of freedom and responsibility.Although cyberspace breaks the limit of the physical body, free speech requires amoral responsibility in order to avoid the occurrence of moral anomie phenomenon.Secondly, the thesis discusses the unity of globalization and localization. Because ofthe diversity of race, culture and background, different groups own varieties ofexperience and difference. It is difficult to use the uniform ethical standards toregulate global cyberethics issues. Finally, the thesis discusses the tension betweenthe virtual world and the reality. Over-indulging in virtual cyberspace can causedetachment from the real world; however, it is unnecessary to be over-concernedabout the cyberspace. The body ethics provides new ideas and ways to explore theethical issues of cyberspace.I It also has an important practical and significant value for us to understand the relationship between people and technology better.
