With the economic communication between China and other countries are moreand more often, the spreading of Chinese in the worldwide are more and more widely.More and more foreign students choose Chinese as a second foreign language. Inrecent years, because of Thailand’s special location, history economic and other factors,Chinese becomes much more popular in this country. But only a few schools setChinese lessons as a required course for seniors in the universities. Most universities inThailand open Chinese lessons within one or two semesters. Many students can onlylearn little Chinese.This article compare and analysis the learning objective, learning experience,study needs between the short-term Chinese study students and Chinese subjectstudents. This compare and analysis are based on the background of second languageand task teaching. For the non-objective language study, the teaching mode proposedby short-term is "Daily communication is first task and the interesting in languagestudy issecond task".Based on the method, we devide every calss into tow parts. One is oral class andthe other is culture teaching. This teaching method makes the students have a lot ofconversation practice, and reduce the non-necessity of learning grammar; through thestudents oral English listening and speaking class. At the same time, the Chineselanguage study can base on the Chinese culture. The games in the class can enhancetheir interesting in studying Chinese. Finally, this article tests the effect teachingmethod via the questionnaire.
