Modern Chinese Acrostic Verb-object Constructions-Chunks Theoretical Analysis

Based on the cross comparison of separable words in both《现代汉语离合词用法词典》and 《汉语水平词汇与汉字等级大纲》, Corpus containingthis part of the separable of effective statistical analysis. The data results proved ourassumption that separable forms are a kind of construction. We analysis theseparable forms in grammatical, semantic and pragmatics aspects to conclude thecharacter of separable forms.This paper is divided into five parts:Introduction: this chapter gave a briefly introduction on the separable wordresearches since1950, and the “construction grammar-chunk theory” researches inboth domestic and abroad, especially the A. E. Goldberg’s construction grammartheory.Chapter2: An empirical study of separable word: According to the routine ofthe separable in corpus and variable frequency respectively data statistics andanalysis of the results. The separable of the most commonly used word main typestructure and semantic analysis to illustrate separable structure types andcharacteristics of the word.Chapter3: separable words compose construction grammar research: thischapter mainly was composition of separable words’ structure and the semanticanalysis and on this basis to separable words composes const characteristics weresummarized. To illustrate its characteristics, we carried on comparative analysiswith other types of separable words. In addition to the separable mechanism for theformation of words are briefly analyzed. And for separable word structure canproduce, mainly on whether a new separable in new words compose type standard.Chapter4: study on separable words in teaching Chinese as a foreign language:comparing with the summary of separable words in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage methods, we discussed the using of chunk theory in separable wordsteaching.Conclusion: this chapter summarizes the main content of this paper for a conclusion.
