The Analysis On Errors Made In Using The Chinese Prepositions "Dui""Duiyu" And "Guanyu" By Vietnamese Students

China is the biggest and the most populous country in the world. In recent years, China’seconomy is rapidly developing. The whole of nation strength is growing with the prominentachievements in every aspect. In pace with economic, political, and cultural exchanging,expanding and developing with all the countries in the world, the role and value of Chineselanguage has become more and more important. Chinese language has become one of the mostattractive language to learners and researchers. In Vietnam, the number of people learningChinese is increasing, however, it is not easy to master completely Chinese language. Learnerswill face with many difficulties when study Chinese language.The prominent characteristics of Chinese language is the lack of the strict meaning of themorphological changes, so syncategorematic words account for an important position in Chineselanguage. Because syncategorematic words are used to express an abstract meaning, for thatreason foreign students find it is difficult to understand these words, and easy to make mistakeswhen using these words. Chinese preposition is an important part of syncategorematic words.For an investigation on Vietnamese students learning Chinese language found they made a lot ofmistakes with preposition using, especially in some words with similar meaning, they found it isvery difficult to use these words. After investigated Vietnam students learning Chinese languagepreposition I found they often make mistake with prepositions such “dui”、“dui yu”、“guanyu”… in communicating or writing. These prepositions are similar in grammatical meaning,grammatical function, but they are different in using. Therefore with the guidance and help ofTeacher and through analyzing large investigation number, I decided to choose " The analysis onerrors made in using the Chinese prepositions ‘Dui’,’Duiyu’ and ‘Guanyu’ by Vietnamesestudents " as my dissertation tittle.
