The development of body language has permeated the whole history of human society. In the era when humans had no verbal languages, they used body language to exchange ideas and make simple communications. For gregarious human, such kind of communication is essential and collaboration, coexistence and co-development were achieved by communication and understanding the thinking of the same kind. Body language as a type of nonverbal language, has been widely adopted in today’s development and communications in various nations and ethnic groups. Under the situation where common verbal languages cannot fully express the mind, body language plays a very important role in the communications because of its simplicity, practicability and effectiveness. Secondly, along with the development of their own cultures, different nations and ethnic groups have derived many characterized body languages based on their own distinguished features. These body languages greatly facilitate the communications between humans in the same nation and ethnic group, and gradually evolve as special symbols of the nation However, because of the diversity between cultures of different nations, there might be different understandings on the same body language, which leads to some inconvenience in the communications between different nations, or even some ambiguities. This paper makes further analysis on body languages based on current research results at home and abroad, takes a survey on the difference between the body languages of China and Russia, and then applies the research results to the practice of foreign Chinese teachings. This paper gives two examples of detailed, during this time and found the differences to be discussed with the concept, meaning deep and distinct from language summary of each side, illustrates a typical different foreign language body language, and prove two caused these differences and characteristics in the teaching process of obstacles and play a positive role of the content, in order to facilitate readers in the field of education and teaching process, understanding and enlightenment.
