Children are masters of a country in the future, they are my parents and the governmentplaced high hopes.In recent years, with the rapidly social development and economic prosperity, people nolonger worry about the problem of food and clothing of children and pay more attention to theeducation problem of children, education has become the hottest topic. In order to develop thenext generation of the motherland, parents don’t stingy to spend money and energy, theyalways buy all kinds of teaching tools for tutoring children, so books is one of the mostimportant auxiliary tools. By reading a book, children not only learn knowledge but alsounderstand social, so books is essential to children’s growth and learning tools.Now, there are a wide variety of children’s books in the market, with rugged design andthe same style, in addition, designers didn’t put the children’s physical and mentalcharacteristics combined with a children’s book design. All the problems influence thedevelopment of children’s books design. In the face of such situation, reasonable inspection,analysis, summary is particularly urgent. On the one hand, it needs analysis.What kind ofbooks do children really need?What standard does the design of children books should follow?What kind of children’s books design is good? It also needs to come up with countermeasures,with the right method to design meet the demand of different age chi ldren’s books.And thiskind of book is good books to promote the healthy growth of children.Any law is not a universal standard, all need to make sure a certain range, thequantitative and qualitative analysis. The design of Children’s books also is the same. It needsto clear a scope for research. This paper devoted to the design study of preschool children’sbooks, that is3~7years old children’s books design is studied.With preschool children’s physical and mental characteristics as a starting point, thispaper revolves around these characteristics to carry on the design. Good preschool children’sbooks in line with the characteristics of preschool children, the books can be accepted bypreschool children. Preschoolers are weaker, and their coordination ability and self protectability is poor. They are full of curiosity to all things around, with the rich imagination, theyknew, from ignorance to the logical thinking gradually formed. In this period, the thinkperception of children develops rapidly, and children are able to recognize and distinguishbetween colors.Preschoolers stage has a pivotal position in the process of human development, itsunique characteristics such as psychological, physiological, feeling design method of theframed the preschool children’s books. Namely focusing on the characteristics of preschoolchildren’s in physical and mental growth, this design is excellent books, books can be beneficial to their healthy growth.Design never stops, it can’t have more willing to stagnation of the progressive forces,constantly explore and discover new pointcut, continuously inject new vitality andconnotation, constantly to let a person enjoy, don’t tired, more moving. In the21st century, itis the era of information, in such a big background, the preschool children’s books should alsokeep pace with The Times, such as the application of multimedia technology, the electronicbooks. This era also emphasize on the feelings of people, give full play to all kinds of senseorgans, let children feel better convey the content of the books,"vision","hearing" and"smell","taste","touch", enrich the preschool children’s books design gimmick.This paper from the perspective of comprehensive analysis of preschool children’s booksas much as possible the shortage of the design and the future. Stream, not to advance is to goback, preschool children’s books design also conforms to the law, so that preschool children’sbooks design around the characteristics of the preschool children and combined with timescharacteristics, so that the design of the design can meet the demand of preschool children.
