Epics are a very important part of Mongolian literature, and are the elite of Mongolian culture. Among them, the Oirad epic HanHangui is internationally accepted to possess high artistic and academic value, after the Jangar and Geser.The achievement of the translation of the epic HanHangui into Chinese is the important sign of Mongolian and Chinese cultural communication. The Chinese translation of the epic has promoted the spread of the Mongolian epic among other nationalities and plays an important role in spreading Mongolian culture. Mongolian epics have their unique literal characteristics, thus the translation and research of Mongolian epics has become an activity of recreation. This dissertation has compared the original text of HanHangui and the translated version of Zhao Wen Gong and analyzed systematically of his translation techniques and style on the basis of literature translation theory.This dissertation is formed of four parts as the introduction, main body, the conclusion and the bibliography.The introduction:The purpose, research status of the subject and the methods used and creative points and processed materials are introduced.The main body:The first section:the purpose and meanings of the translation of HanHangui into Chinese by Zhao Wen Gong is introduced.The second section:the prettiness and methods of translating HanHangui.The third section:the vivid recreation.The forth section:the translation styles.The conclusion:The analysis of the method and style of the Zhao Wen Gong version of HanHangui, proved the value both of aesthetic and literature and outstanding skills of the translator.
