This paper is aimed at researching cross-cultural conflicts with case analysis. The failed one is China Railway Construction Corporation Limited lost a lot in the project of Mecca light rail, the other one is the company made a huge success in the project of Lagos Highway. According to the existing studies of scholars and the case analysis, we try to analyze cross-cultural conflicts roundly.It includes five parts:The part1is an introduction. It introduces the origin, significance, research status, the main idea and methods. The part2makes a review about cross-cultural conflicts. It also introduces the definition, the cause of formation and the main findings about cross-cultural conflicts at home and abroad. The existing research focus on the management and scholars pay little attention to the performance about cross-cultural conflicts in language and culture. The cooperation between China and other country is development sustainably. Because of many misunderstanding in trade, we believe our research is very necessary.The main content is part3and part4. The part3describes and analysis the example that the Mecca light rail project and the Lagos Highway project in details. This kind of analysis is the foundation of explore to solve the cross-cultural conflicts. The part4is the solving strategies of cross-cultural conflicts. The solving strategies include cultural compatibility strategy, cultural innovation strategy and cultural aversion strategy. In a short time, the most effective method is cross-cultural training. The part5is conclusion. We come up with a conclusion, the disadvantages of this paper, and the next step of the issue.
