Intercultural Conflicts Case Analysis Of Volunteers In Thailand During 2018 And 2019 Senester

Chinese Ministry of Education has approved the'Plan of Chinese Volunteer for the International Chinese Education' since 2004.The team of International Chinese Teaching is growing bigger than before.Thailand,the country which is the earliest time and the largest number to receive Chinese volunteer teachers and the number maintain around 1,700 people in recent years.When volunteers leaving their mainland and facing the heterogeneous culture,there must be some intercultural conflicts of Thai culture,Thai groups and Thai people,which is a huge challenge for the volunteers to complete their jobs.This dissertation see Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language as a point of view,to research and analyse what the volunteer teachers had been through about intercultural conflicts when they worked in Thailand.Also,discuss and then give some advice according to those cases.This dissertation is aiming to give some references to mitigate the intercultural conflicts and help volunteers finish their term of services successfully.As a member of Chinese volunteers during 2018 to 2019 semester,author use volunteer teachers teaching in Suphan Buri province,Ayutthaya province,Angthong province,Lop Buri province,Sing Buri province as subjects of research.Research and analyse the cases of intercultural conflicts and summarize the specialty by sending questionnaires,collecting cases,observing interview,etc.This dissertation is hoping to help volunteer teachers mitigate and overcome the intercultural conflicts and complete the term of services successfully.This dissertation was made up of introduction,equivalence of literature review and the conception of intercultural conflicts,research design,the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire results,cases and analysis of intercultural conflicts,discussion of the reasons which lead to intercultural conflicts,advice of facing the intercultural conflicts and epilogue those eight parts.
