Chinese social address forms is an important part of language communication andthe proper use will help to understand Chinese culture and promote communicationsmoothly. It is a key but difficult point in TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a ForeignLanguage), but the study of social address forms from the perspective of TCFL isrelatively weak. Hence, the research of the social address forms from this angle will helpto advance the development of TCFL.Based on the theory of Second Language Acquisition and Social Linguistics,referred to the related resources of previous research, this thesis begins with thequestionnaire on the learning-using the Chinese social address forms of foreign learnersand analyzes the survey data as well as the misuse reasons from various point of views,such as the social address forms itself, culture, teaching materials and teaching as well asstudents. On the basis of above study, the appropriate teaching strategies will be putforward, including hierarchy strategy, contrast strategy, scene strategy, culture strategyand optimizing teaching materials strategy; what is deserved to mentioned is that theteaching strategy of classification of the Chinese social address forms has beencreatively proposed. What s more, to stimulate students to learn Chinese, this thesispresents the teaching means such as multimedia language teaching and establishinglectures as well.
