Different times give certain physical characteristics to the youth, as different describing styles of the youth present particular connotation. A series of teenage images have been built during the100-year-history of Chinese films. And at every historical stage, the youth images are attached to the social culture closely. This passage will take the example of representative movies-"The Song of the Youth ""Life ""A Beautiful New World " and "Love is not Blind "-which are located in varies time since the founding of our country, through which reveal the trend of the changing social spirits, the growing process together with the survival difficulties of the youth at that time behind differences between the youth images. This passage also catalog the representative youth images in different historical stages through the conclusion of their common connotations. At the same time, this essay explores the causes of the changing of the youth images at the base of ana lysing their characteristics with the connotation of the spirits.This piece of paper is divided into five parts as follows:The first part is the introduction. This part includes specific thing like, the significance of this topic^research theme and the conception definition, the contents and methods of the research, other research situations.The second part is an analysis on the youth images in movies from1949to the end of the "Great Cultural Revolution". The youth in movies are born for revolution at that time. This part chose three facets to make specific research of that period.
