| This article aims to explore how Chinese ethnic students in Chile learn Chinese in a more efficient way. It surveyed the present situation of the Chinese learners in Chile from the following aspects: the resources of Chinese training school in Chile, the management of those schools, teachers’ professionalism, family environment, cultural background and the learning features of the students. Based on the survey, this article provides an overall analysis regarding factors that affect the Chinese learning of the Chinese ethnic students in Chile. From this analysis, the school, the teachers, the parents should be more mindful and adapted of the students in order to help the students learn Chinese in a better way. Here are some suggestions: use scientific management to run the school; assign suitable teachers for those Chinese ethnic students in Chile; train teachers to adapt to student needs; strengthen Chinese character teaching; provide materials that are suitable for the Chinese ethnic students in Chile; arrange a cultural course to strengthen the students’ recognition of Chinese cultural identity. |
