The wave of Chinese learning gradually rises,and the overseas demand for Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers has grown rapidly,and the short-term training model for Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers,pre-job training,has attracted increasing attention.As the first country in Latin America to establish diplomatic relations with China,Chile has a long history of teaching Chinese.This article takes pre-job training at Multilingual Dalian Base for International Promotion of Chinese as an example,and conducts a more comprehensive survey of pre-job training for Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers in Chile.The full text is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,systematically sorting out relevant research literature,and sorting out the three aspects of international Chinese teacher quality and training,Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers pre-job training and Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers teaching cross-cultural adaptation,and drawing on and referring to related content and research methods.The second chapter introduces the basic situation of pre-job training,and takes Multilingual Dalian Base for International Promotion of Chinese as an example to analyze the management mode and course arrangement of pre-job training,as well as the training hours and training objectives of each course.The third chapter horizontally compares the pre-job training courses of Multilingual Dalian Base for International Promotion of Chinese in the past three years and vertically compares the similarities and differences of pre-job training courses between Multilingual Dalian Base for International Promotion of Chinese and the other two training bases.Through comparison,we can find the advantages and disadvantages of pre-job training courses at Multilingual Dalian Base for International Promotion of Chinese.Chapters 4 and 5 use questionnaire surveys and individual interviews to surveythe work and life of Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers overseas and summarize the problems encountered by Volunteer Chinese Language Teachers in teaching and living overseas.The sixth chapter finds problems based on the information obtained through questionnaire surveys and individual interview analysis,and makes recommendations to training institutions,domestic dispatch units,overseas Confucius Institutes,and volunteers themselves.The seventh chapter summarizes the full text of the views and conclusions,and points out the shortcomings of this study.
