Modern theory of education has a view that education is not only to impart knowledgeand skills, but also to cultivate students’ good psychological characteristics and personality.To improve the students’ mental health is an important guarantee for the student. Universitylife is a critical period for the college students who has just entered the university.Their roleconversion,learning and life adaptation, psychological self adjustment ability will directlyaffect them in the university study and life quality.The can be the key factors to success.College freshmen are different from undergraduates in the comprehensive quality andlearning ability. We must study the mental health problems and explore the solution ofCollege Freshmen’s psychological health.This research mainly uses the college students’ Mental Health Questionnaire (UPI) andSCL-90. Through the longitudinal comparison of freshmen psychological questionnaires, westudy the college students’ psychological characteristics, especially the "suicide intention",analysis the factors which change the psychology of the students, carry out the psychologicalcrisis intervention measures, expand the channels of college mental health education, andpromote the mental health education.The research also explores different intervention measures and makes the mental healtheducation more practical. We make a longitudinal comparative study of the psychologicalsituation of freshmen, analyze the mental health and the trend of mental health, analyze thecauses of students’ psychological disorder. Based on the review, we determine the object ofthe students, put forward the hypothesis. We pay a return visit to the students. according tothe corresponding characteristics of individual, we use different plans.We also improveindividual counseling efficiency and technical level, expand method and effect inpsychological development level and warning mechanism. We demonstrate flexibility andeffectiveness of psychological crisis intervention. We make the students’ mental healtheducation more practical.According to different psychological problems of the students,weuse different intervention to develop psychological health education.
