Occupational gender stereotypes are a continuation of gender stereotypes, Its the classified by gender on professional general trend, think some professional is only suitable for a gender phenomenon.So college students’ occupational gender stereotypes its that college students according to gender on occupational general classification, formed a kind of think men should be engaged in the professional profession, women should be fixed impression service professions.This occupational gender stereotypes can make college students view of professional rigid and influence college students’ future career development and choice, therefore, this present study will study on college students’ occupational gender stereotypes, aims to explore whether can through the change of stereotype and mood to weaken students’ occupational gender stereotypes, to correctly guide the college students’ career choice and development for the future.This study consists of two experiments:Experiment1selected60college students from shenyang normal university as the research objects, mainly uses the implicit association test method, study on counterstereotype influence on college students’ occupational gender stereotypes.The results show that the counterstereotype can effectively weaken the students’ occupational gender stereotypes, but not completely eliminate the occupational gender stereotypes.Experiment2selected120college students from shenyang normal university as the research objects, mainly uses the implicit association test method, study on counterstereotype and emotional impact on college students’ occupational gender stereotypes.Results show that:(1) compared with the negative emotions, under positive emotions counterstereotype material subjects’ IAT effect significantly less than under negative emotions subjects’ IAT effect value.(2) for not present the counterstereotype materials subjects, subjects who under positive emotions its IAT effect significantly greater than the IAT effect value of the subjects who under negative emotions.
