The Assignment Model teaching method has found numerous applications in second language teaching, as for when it is applied to the Chinese language teaching field, it has mostly been mutually integrated with Chinese language classroom teaching. Yet the combination of the Assignment Model teaching method with Chinese language extracurricular practical activities still evades a comparatively large number of graduate students’attention. Simultaneously, a number of problems has been raised during the course of the present domestic university Chinese language extracurricular practical activities’development, but the future application of the Assignment Model teaching method to these extracurricular practical activities would effectively resolve the present problems.This dissertation progresses to process the basis of the large number of various documents’data and materials by the means of investigative questionnaires and interviews in order to obtain basic reference data. It also seeks to compare the overall present situation of the Chinese language environment on extracurricular practical activities’, and furthermore compare as well as deeply consider the past extracurricular practical activities’ existing problem causers. At the same time, it would provide a fruitful and successful study for the future implementation of the Assignment Model teaching method in Chinese language extracurricular practical activities. It would also design useful activity methods which would provide a beneficial and useful study of objective developments in the environment of Chinese language extracurricular practical activities.The dissertation is divided into four sections:The first section includes two parts:elaborate the reason behind choosing the topic and significance of the research, compare domestic and international Assignment Model teaching method and Chinese language extracurricular practical activities’research achievements processing progress and summary; explanation of this dissertation’s research contents, research methods, the basis of the theories as well as the innovative points. The second section is a questionnaire about domestic universities’ Chinese language extracurricular practical activities’ present situation and progress, it also seeks to understand the latter’s issues, as well as compare the emerged issues’ overall causes through thorough analysis; elaborates the superiority of the Assignment Model teaching method’s application in Chinese language extracurricular practical activities.The third section progresses to explore the method of the Assignment Model in Chinese language extracurricular practical activities, with careful elaboration of the latter’s core, basic structure, basic progress, and basic form.The fourth section uses "social communication and systematic nature","purpose and flexibility","practicality and preference" these three aspects’ progressing characteristics and careful discussion in the Assignment Model Chinese language extracurricular practical activities method, which gives basis to the extracurricular activities’ design, implementation, and evaluation of the three aspects which in turn put forward relevant proposals.
