College career locus of control is that the individual realize he can master the occupation development task.It is extended from the field of work.This study develops the college career locus of control scale(CLCS).It is to investigate its construction and analyse the current situation.This study has obtained the following research results through interview,exploratory and confirmatory factor:(1)College career locus of control scale has27items in total,including7dimensions:hard work,career planning,social justice, opportunity, helplessness,social resources and social injustice.(2)This questionnaire has a relatively good reliability and validity.The internal consistency coefficient of every dimension is up to0.540.As with construct validity is the means of exploratory factor analysis,these seven factors can explain62.80%of variance,correlation coefficient between factors range from0.10to0.551.In the report of confirmatory factor analysis,the comparative fit indexes are:X2/df=1.682,GFI=.873, TLI=.891, CFI and IFI are all above0.90,RMR=.084,RMSEA=.052.The model is fit. The relevance with CLCS Chinese revision is between0.1to0.339, in line with the requirement of criterion validity.(3)Each dimension of college career locus of control scale has significant difference in gender, profession and school type.(4)The relationship between all dimensions of career locus of control and learning engagement are different.There is a significant positive correlation between social justice dimension,career planning dimension, work hard dimension respectively and vitality dimension,dedication dimension and focus dimension. Social injustice dimension, helplessness dimension,social resource dimension respectively with vigor dimension, dedication dimension,focus dimension significantly negatively correlate.Opportunity dimension and focus dimension has a negative correlation.Career planning, hard work and social justice for the vigor, dedication, learning engagement have certain prediction; career planning and work hard have certain prediction into focus.(5)The relationship between career locus of control and career exploration are:the relationship between work hard and self exploration is positively correlated, career planning and environment to explore positively correlated, social justice and self-exploration is positively correlated. Only the career planning can be used to predict the environment exploration,self-exploration and career exploration.
