Career adaptability abroad in recent years the field of career psychology is a relatively new theory ofthe growing point,it is considered to be the core competencies to adapt and maintain the the balance ofcareer role in the changing modern society.More research on career resilience in foreign, but the country,especially in mainland China is less.With a rapid expansion in recent years of graduate students,thepressure of graduate career is gradually increased. Therefore,to carry out this study not only provide careerguidance to graduate students in the career development of stable and mature stage,and an urgent need toenrich and develop our career psychological theory.This study revised the Undergraduate Career Adaptability Scale to provide a tool about master.Usingthe revised Master Career Adaptability Scale together with Master Multidimensional Locus of control Scaleand Master Life satisfaction Scale.The first research investigated the differences about the Careeradaptability of Master in demographic variables;The second research explores the effects that Locus ofControl plays between Career adaptability and Life satisfaction about master.The main findings of thisstudy are as follows:(1)The revised Master Career Adaptability Scale has four dimensions,career curiosity,careerconcern,career confidence,career control.The scale meet the requirements of psychometric with goodreliability and validity,it can be a tool to measure the master's career adaptability level.(2)Some significant differences are found in demographic variables in career adaptability.There weresignificant differences in gender,discipline,grade,multi-disciplinary,marital status, part-time and workexperience,but no differences in Family background and only-child.(3)There are significant positive correlations in career adaptability and life satisfaction,there is significant positive correlation between life satisfaction and internal control,but negative correlation inexternal control;career adaptability and internal control has significant positive correlation, external controlhas negative correlation on career confidence,and also career concern.but no significant differences oncareer curiosity and career control.(4)The locus of control partly mediate the association between master's career adaptability and lifesatisfaction.It means master's career adaptability through locus of control effects the life satisfactionindirectly.
