The occupation is one of most important topics in life. Based on overviews of former researches , the investigation of open-ended questionnaire and discussions with the expert, the theoretical hypothesis was constructed. The career anchor definition is: In the practical life and in the work experience foundation, introspecting the abilities and the talents, needs with the motive as well as values engaging in, one forms the relatively stable explicit occupational self- view gradually. We established the career anchor pretesting questionnaire for IT enterprise employees, and has carried on the trial survey to 87 IT enterprise employees. After carrying factor analysis on the pretesting questionnaire and repeatedly revision, this research finally established the formal Career Anchor Questionnaire for IT enterprise employees. After investigating 446 IT enterprise employees with formal questionnaire, the model turns out to be legitimate and fitting by means of the path analysis and socio-demography. The Career anchor questionnaire for IT Enterprise Employees is examined by many indexes. The main results of this study are as follows:1. According to its major effected factors, the IT enterprise employee's career anchor may divide into three dimensions: Talent-Based, Need-Based, or Value-Based. these three dimensions divided into 8 kind of concrete types: (1) technical/functional competence; (2) managerial competence; (3) security and stability; (4) autonomy and independence; and (5) entrepreneurial creativity; (6) service and dedication to a cause;...
