The notes will be more logical to read, which is helpful to a fluent and accurate interpretation. In this paper, the participants in two groups listened to the English to Chinese listening passage and interpreted it with the help of their note-taking. By comparing record, notes and performance of the participants of two groups the thesis reached a result. Efforts were made to identify and characterize possible connections between reconstruction of meaning based on notes and application of sight translation techniques in shifting syntactic elements in CI.
