The Organization And Research Of The Tablets In Northern Wei Dynasty Omitted By Collation And Annotation Of Inscription On Tablets In Han Wei And Six Dynasties

The Northern and Southern Dynasties is a great period for the development of inscription on tablets whose literature collection of different types, uses, and genres have already developed completely, and different styles also have stabilized. The Northern Wei Dynasty, with148years history, is an important minority regimes and a very important dynasty in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and the materials of inscription on tablets are pretty rich. Collation and Annotation of Inscription on Tablets in Han Wei and Six Dynasties by Professor Mao Yuanming is a great masterpiece that studies the inscription on tablets in the period, but omits some materials, among which can be seen on magazines, journals, books and websites. Based on these materials, this thesis tries to reorganize and study the inscription on tablets that have been omitted in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Detailedly, it collects, organizes and studies the materials of inscription on tablets that have been omitted in Collation and Annotation of Inscription on Tablets in Han Wei and Six Dynasties and published before2007.The thesis includes three parts which refer to introduction, organization, research. Chapter one introduction includes summary of the research materials, the significance, status, method and difficulties of this research. Chapter two organization part mainly includes interpretation and annotation. The interpretation part tries to record according to the original version, and the annotation part is mainly about explaining words, allusions and idioms, and annotating the interpretations. The basic structure is title, basic information, interpretation, picture source and annotation. Chapter three research part consists of three sections which are researches separately on characteristic minority words, address terms of Buddhist monks and some character variants. The first part includes researches on family names of minorities and functionary of minorities, the second part consists of address terms of monks and Buddhist, the last part is mainly about analysis and organization of some character variants produced by prosperity.
