"Harmonious society" and the "Beautiful China" are the two great themes of contemporary China’s modernization, national social harmony and needs the people’s physical and mental health,"Beautiful China" includes "the beauty of life","the beauty of society","the beauty of the people"; self-acceptance is the basis of confidence, on the smallest scale, self-acceptance conducive to the individual’s physical and mental health of the individual is conducive to their harmonious; On a macro level, the harmony of the individual is the basis of social harmony, the basis of social harmony and national stability, people based on full self acceptance in order to better enjoy the good life. Clothing is a necessity of the people, numerous studies have shown that a woman’s self-confidence, self-acceptance and self-evaluation are lower than that of men, but women are bom like beautiful clothes, attempts to exploit the beauty of everyday dress to feel the pleasure of self acceptance; In "a dream of red mansions","Jane eyre","the necklace","Anna karenina""gone with the wind" of the five representative of Chinese and foreign literature research, the description of beautiful dress is usually used to show the females’self-acceptance and self-cinfidence directly or indirectly.Based on the above, try to study self-appreciation through dress to improve women’s self-acceptance, self-confident,seeking practical ways for women how to improve confidence, and provides a number of ways to promote self-harmony, harmonious society. This study is divided into two sub studies:Study I:Questionnaire investigate on the consistency beteween dress appreciation and appreciate dress from photos,of302(valid subjects were276) students and working professionals questionnaires, explore to the improvement of self-acceptance is the beauty of the dress, brand. price, or the evaluation of others,in addition, on the issue whether there is difference between male and female, and for Study Ⅱ dress from photos arouse the individual aesthetic experiment provides the basis.Study Ⅱ:Experimental study about the influence of young females’self-acceptance through appreciating their own dress from their photos. Because of this experiment,finally,selected self-acceptance questionnaire (SAQ) produced by Cong Zhong, Gao Wenfeng (1999).Their self-acceptance questionnaire can be divided into two factors,the self-acceptance and self-evaluation, of which self-acceptance and self-acceptance factor with the same name, so we should rename the factor firstly, the main use of expert assessment method, the questionnaire distributed to prepared18(valid16) applied psychology, educational psychology, etc. Masters, Ph.D., let refer to " dictionary of Psychology " is defined in comparison with the given topic selection, and ultimately determine the name " self-affirmation."The experiment using experimental control group were randomly recruited Southwest University47(valid for the40), age range19-28young females,the control group and the experimental group each20subjects. During the experiment, the computer presents their photos to the subjects to appreciate, reviews, to get the aesthetic experience. Before and after the experiment,need to complete some questionnaires. Finally, data collection, statistical analysis was performed using SPSS.Through research and analysis, reached the following conclusions:(1)In improving self acceptance of various factors," the aesthetic feeling of dress" factors extremely significantly higher (P<0.01) than "dress brand","the price of the dress " and "the evaluation of others".(2)In females dress photos appreciation pleasure factors obtained," dress charm " significantly higher " recalls events "," youthful age" and other factors (P<0.01).(3) The aesthetic experiences from wearing beatutiful dress and appreciating the beatiful dress from photos "same terms" and "related terms" significantly higher "no related terms"(P<0.01), suggesting that The emotional experiences from appreciating own beatutiful dress and appreciating the beatiful dress from photos is a significant consistency.(4)experimental study of females appreciating their own dress from their satisfied photos, in both the "research" or "quality" studies have shown that female self-appreciation their own dress from their photos can significantly (P<0.01), improve their level of self-acceptance.Value of this research:a combination of fashion, aesthetics, psychology, enrich the content of applied psychology; at the same time it opened a breakthrough in the relationship between "fashion and personality","aesthetic and personality "and so on, and provide empirical basis for the subsequent research. In addition, this research topic selection of life, and with daily life is also a great feature. In practice, for improving females’self-acceptance, self-confidence to explore some practical strategies; promotion on this basis, to individual physical and mental health and self consistency and congruence to find some new ideas; in addition, provide the basis for aesthetic development of the garment industry.Innovation in this study:1) innovative research perspective of applied psychology, expanding the subject field.2) the aesthetic theory was applied to practice.3) To promote females, individual self-acceptance, physical and mental health to explore feasible new strategies.4) explores the aesthetic needs of people’s dress.
