Since the reform and opening up, the socialist market economic system makes the social more vital, and modernization has gained great achievements:the rich material wealth has got better, economic strength increased greatly; major breakthroughs were made in reform and opening up; people’s living standards improved significantly, the democratic rules and laws have made new progress. Market economy accelerated the process of China’s economic development greatly improved the level of productivity and caused a profound change in people’s lifestyles, ideas, and promote the comprehensive development of our society. However, with the continuous development of China’s market economy, profound changes have taken place in China’s economic composition, forms of social organization, employment, various interests and increasingly diverse distribution, simultaneously, there have been many new situations and problems. When the rapid development of society improved the living conditions of the masses of people, all kinds of social problems have begun to come out, what’s more, it caused some disharmony. Therefore, the CPC Central Committee proposed to construct a socialist harmonious society timely is the inevitable choice of China’s economy and society. Confucian harmony has made tremendous contributions to stability and harmonious development of society in ancient China, it still has a positive enlightenment on harmonious society nowadays.This article analyzed some disharmony in the socialist market economy at present stage of china and explained the meaning of the Confucian Harmonious Thought further from man and himself, interpersonal, man and society and man and nature.
