Based on khorchin rapper Hu Erji as an example, the modern media the change of Mongolian traditional music inheritance were studied. First place Hu Erji artist way of tradition in the Mongolian social and cultural changes of the historical process of modernization, from inheritance channels, traditional model, from three aspects of transmission channels, to explore the effects of modern media for Hu Erji inheritance, and under the influence of modern media, what happens to the Mongolian traditional music cultural inheritance mechanism of structural changes, were studied. Oral transmission is the basic characteristics of the Mongolian traditional music inheritance. Its customs, and this kind of oral sex, attached to the folk music life in a particular context and rituals, implemented by face-to-face human interaction. In terms of inheriting relationship, in the aspects of interpersonal relationship and skills inheritance dimension mentoring heritage and natural heritage is formed on two kinds of relations. With the modernization of Mongolian society, media intervention to Hu Erji inheritance system, changed the Hu Erji inherent in one’s inheritance inheritance model, the different media such as radio, TV, the Internet, in different historical stages, in their own way and influence, have the effects on Hu Erji skill inheritance. Heritage as a communication process, is a traditional culture and the delay spread, is also the interpersonal interaction mechanism; During the transmission of Mongolian traditional music culture, the change of the field and diversification of transmission channels, embodies the nature of the changes of the traditional music inheritance. Traditional model of media everything, both activities of marketization, is causing load loss to Hu Erji art produced fundamental change.
