Village culture has a long history in China’s cultural system,and plays an important role in the social stability、morality feelingand colorful ethnic culture. Under the background of urbanizationtoday, some social problems gradually stand out, such as the gapbetween the rich and the poor, money worship, moral landslide,advocating foreign culture and so on, which these problems proposesevere test in today’s urbanization construction. Therefore, itbecomes a consensus to find a more reasonable urbanization road. Insuch a case, the social value of Chinese village culture is dug out,expected to give some inspirations for urbanization.There are three parts in the content framework, including villageculture, the social function and heritage of the village culture, thevillage culture in modern society, especially the importantsignificance of urbanization.The details are as follows:The first part: Mainly based on the north village culture, thispaper tries to find a value road of faith、festival and dailyrituals, and social influence.The second part: Social functions are mainly studied in this part,including two aspects of physical effects of spiritual influence.The third part: It is the major content of contemporarysignificance of village culture, especial the urbanizationinspiration.Under the above analysis, the paper finally proposes the core idea:Village culture is the crystallization of Chinese culture, and hadan important role in the traditional agricultural society; in therealistic picture of urbanization today, it still deserve to learnand inherit, especially in this case of maintaining the independence of national culture and moral education in reality. Of course, weshould take a sense attitude to learn the village culture and discardsome unreason customs in the urbanization construction.
