Study Chinese Avant-garde Art Under The Status Of Artistic Patron

Patron is a new point of sight in art study since twentieth Century, Previousstudies mainly analysis the work of art style, the artists, the time of produce, materials,and so on. The patronage of art puts art into the occurrence of art’s social and culturalbackground. Through the investors have an effect on the creation of works, and studythe value and attribute of works. This paper summarizes the predecessors study aboutpatron, and summarizes the factors that influence the arts sponsorship: interest,political interest, social economy and so on. This paper mainly uses a form ofexample in studying the UCCA---this is one of abroad business---how it is patron aswell as impacts avant-garde art in China. At the same time mentioned that Mr. Ullenshad transferred the right of management, Chinese avant-garde art meets difficulties,and how to get rid of the trouble is a pressing matter of the moment. The thesis isdivided into four sections. The first part focuses on the formation of art patron andcore value. The second part uses UCCA as an example, and analysis on thebackground and introduces that it have established the character of art museum,exhibition, support our artists to participate in the international exhibition andsponsorship of avant-garde art in China. The third part is the judgment of valueconcept in Western art, and the Chinese avant-garde art makes achievements andinfluences under the UCCA. The fourth part is the analysis of avant-garde art in Chinafrom the initial approval to later close contact with commercial sponsorship withforeign enterprises.
