Dialect Phenomenon Research In Zhou Libo’s Novel

Zhou Libo was the representative of native literature schools of Camellia. In his novels, he had created so many vivid characters and reflected the customs of the countryside. His novel is full with the country flavor and local cultural characteristics. Therefore, in this paper, we mainly research dialect phenomenon in Zhou Libo’s novels. The paper can be divided into five parts as follows:Chapter one is introduction. We introduce Zhou Libo’s life and novel writing experiences. Then we elaborate the research present situation, significance, methods, steps. Last we explain the source of language materials.Chapter two is mainly about the general situation of how Zhou Libo using dialects in his novels. We analyze the reason for the use of dialects in his novels, from the perspectives of life experiences, literary viewpoint, literary tradition. Then we summarize three stages of using dialects in Zhou Libo’s novels and investigate the using features and methods of dialect elements in his novel. Last, we analyze the defect of using dialects in his novels.Chapter three is about the choosing of dialects and performance capabilities. We mainly analyze the verbs, adjectives, nouns.About these dialect elements, we mainly elaborate the effect of literary expression and performance function of local culture. Chapter four is about the local flavor and country side characters in his most famous novel "Great Changes in the Mountain Village". We elaborate local flavor, from the perspectives of special plant name, house name and old sayings. We analyze the countryside characters from the perspectives of people’s nickname and words.Chapter five is the conclusion. We summarize the main points in this paper and put forward further study of the dialects using in writers’s works.
