Chinese Ancient-style Poems (Hereafter as referred to "CAP") are the pearls among the Ancient Chinese literature. As a classic cultural heritage shared by global Chinese, CAP are inheritaged by the scholars from Mainland, Taiwan, Hongkong&Macao, and developed in Australia as well. So far hundreds of thousands of Chinese-Australians are habitated in Australia with the Australia immigration policy. Since1990s, a lot of CAP and poets have appeared with the development of Chinese-Australian literature (Hereafter as referred to "CAL").The first part gives a brief introduction about CAL and CAP in Australia. As a result of multi-cultural policy carried out since1970s, Chinese immigrants to Australia rose a lot and CAL were developed by three generations:old, middle-age and young writers. CAP were rising and getting popular through newspapers, radios, and websites. Chinese Ancient-style poets such as Oai Trieu, Shangming Qiao, Zhiyuan Xie, Jianxiong Lin were know as the key writers. They encouraged and taught the Chinese-Australians and the next generation to read, to appreciate and to create CAP, which greatly enhanced the development of CAP.The second part from the second chapter to the fourth chapter sorts the CAP by anglicizing the poems. From the works of Oai Trieu, Zhiyuan Xie, Jianxiong Lin, Xin Jiang, etc, we can have the panorama and the main characteristics of CAP in Australia. The poets mainly express the feelings about patriotism and homesick, criticism and recording, ding edict and sentimentalism. They are either bold, or unconstrained, or countryside styled either graceful or restrained. A lot of masterpieces are very much touching and yummy. The third part introduces the limitation and perspective view in a long run about Australia CAP’s development. There are some readers, few funs and less poets. Writing CAP with strict rhythms makes the poem creation full of hardness. It’s a long time to know, to appreciate and to grasp the writing skills. In order to save and inherit age CAP in Australia, Chinese Australians need to do more things in this field. The CAP poets and associations in Australia not only need more communication among the authors and societies, but also face up and keep pace with the literature development of mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. To solve the problem of CAP popularization, young Chinese-Australian kids need to be encouraged to approach CAP and get interested in it through the Sunday Chinese schools. Poems also need to be publicized more often through multi-media such as newspapers, blogs and websites. Fortunately some poets in Australia are focusing on the CAP training courses to Chinese descendants, which will lead to a sustainable development of CAP.
