Ancient Chinese literature,with its beautiful language and rich cultural connotation,plays an important role in the history of Chinese literature.The study of ancient Chinese literature is also of great significance in the study of language and culture.According to the stage characteristics of Chinese ancient literature teaching for foreign students,ancient literature courses are divided into elective and compulsory courses.By sorting out the materials,we analyze the teaching environment,curriculum,teaching materials,teaching contents,teaching methods and teaching effects of ancient Chinese literature course for foreign students,investigate the teaching status quo of ancient Chinese literature course for foreign students,and classify and explore the existing problems.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the historical status and international influence of ancient Chinese literature,as well as the importance,role and characteristics of ancient literature in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is a comprehensive investigation and analysis of the teaching of ancient Chinese literature in five universities including heilongjiang university,Harbin normal university,Beijing language and culture university,Beijing normal university and trang overseas Chinese school in Thailand,and points out the existing problems.The third chapter mainly puts forward reasonable Suggestions for the problems existing in ancient literature course in Chinese teaching,hoping that our research and Suggestions can provide impetus for the teaching of ancient literature in Chinese teaching.
