Phonetics is an important part of language, and thus plays a decisive role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The Chinese language is a kind of "tone language", so tone is not only an indispensable element of Chinese phonetics, but also one of the important characteristics of the Chinese Language. Therefore, in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the importance of tone is self-evident. This dissertation is based on the problem of "foreign accent" of foreign Chinese learners in real teaching situations. The Madagascar students are chosen as the research object, and their tone pronunciation deviation is explored by tone listening and marking analysis and phonetics experiment. Some teaching suggestions are put forward based on the analysis of the causes of deviation.The first chapter of this paper mainly includes three parts: The first part is the research background of this dissertation. Starting from teaching practice, research questions are raised to settle; The second part is a review of experimental research results of the present study on tone in teaching Chinese as a foreign language; The final part explains the significance of this study. The Madagascar students are chosen as the research object, mainly because the existing literature and research results of their case are very scarce. The purpose of this paper is to analysis the Chinese tone pronunciation deviance of foreign students, analyze the causes, and put forward suggestions accordingly.The second chapter introduces the experimental design. The main contents include the choice of subjects, the making of test table, steps of the experiment and the software used in the experiment. This experiment mainly uses the voice software to analyze the pronunciation group and control group respectively, and then draws conclusion through the contrast.The third chapter is mainly about comparative analysis of the experimental results. Analysis of experimental results includes two complementary parts of listening and tone marking, and phonetics experiment. Test analysis of the recordings is divided into the two parts of monosyllable and bisyllable, and the later is further divided into the front character and the back character. The main analysis contents include: pitch table, pitch chart and pitch contour.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of deviation based on the experimental results, mainly including factors such as the influence of mother tongue, the teaching effect, the effect of the combination of tone, and so on.In the fifth chapter, suggestions for teaching are put forward based on the causes of deviation, Including the training of "tone" consciousness, avoidance of teaching errors, improvement of teaching skills, and summary of teaching difficulties.
