Exploying perception experiment and oral test experiment of monosyllabic tone traditional firstly, this paper will systematic analysis on the perception error and pronunciation error of monosyllabic tone by the test’s result of the student in Karachi University Confucius Institute.to explore the current the situation of student’s monosyllabic tone acquisition in Confucius Institute, summarize the error types and put forward the targeted strategies. This paper can be divided into six chapters.Chapter 1”Introduction”.This Chapter sums up research background, significance and purposes, and the research status of monosyllabic tone acquisition in domestic and overseas.Chapter 2’’ The Design of Experiments”. This Chapter introduce participants,word table design by considers the language’s input and output, and design the perception experiment and oral experiment, in the end deign the details of the test’s program.Chapter3 ” analysis the result of perception experiment” experimental show that:the monosyllabic tone perception error which is disaggregated by gender 、 age and learning stage period. The number of monosyllabic tone perception error from more to less is: rising tone error、level tone error、 falling tone error、falling-rising tone error.The worst percept confusion of monosyllabic tone is between level tone and rising tone,this confusion almost account for half of all the confusion type. No matter from the number of the errors or the type of confusion,the percept of level tone and rising tone still exist big problem.Chapter4 ”oral test ” the result of monosyllabic tone’s oral test shows that:(1) the number of misread errors from more to less is:rising tone >falling tone>level tone >falling-rising tone(2)pitch ranges. The pitch ranges of students be tested were generally lower than the peak and higher than the bottom, so the pitch ranges is narrow and the pitch ranges is generally different between students.(3)Tone type and tone value. The tone value of lever tone is lower than others, the tone type almost right; The start point of rising tone’s tone type is high or low, the tone type is not stable; Falling-rising tone exist the character of changing phonetic in twisted tone type,also exist the start point and the end point is high or low, the tone value is inaccuracy; The biggest problem of falling tone is hard to falling down.Chapter 5 “Teaching strategies”. According to the experiment result of chapter 3and 4 combing the status of teaching oversea,the writer suggests student to use voice software Praat which is benefit for student to understand and percept tone type, helping teacher and student monitor the quality of tone type and pronunciation. Helping student percept and control the maximum tone value and the minimum tone of personal pronunciation by control the vocal cord, helping student improve the tone value and tone type of level tone 、 falling tone and rising tone.Chapter 6 ” The epilogue”. This paper put forward main conclusion of this research and the problem need to be discussed deeply.
