Through summarizing the importance of listening and the existed main problems of Chinese listening teaching in TCFL, this paper points out the exposed problems in listening teaching of TCFL and uses task-based Language teaching of foreign countries for reference, it puts forward a new method of teaching-applying task-based Language teaching to listening teaching of TCFL. Hope the new method of teaching can solve the problems and improve listening class effect by efficiently organizing instruction.The paper has three big parts:introduction, body and conclusion. There are five chapters in the body. The first chapter is the introduction of main theoretical basis of task-based language teaching and advantages. The second chapter is how to operate the task-based language teaching methodology. The third and fourth chapters are the explicit explanation of content and principle of listening teaching in teaching Chinese as a second language, and the combination of task-based language teaching and listening teaching. According to the characteristics and principles of task-based language teaching, it implements the procedures of how to apply task-based language teaching to the listening teaching class.In this chapter, it has two teaching plans.Through carrying out the plans and analysis from it. The paper makes survey of the topics. The fifth chapter raises the profound consideration on using this teaching method into listening teaching in TCFL including concluding whole paper.
