The elementary listening course in Chinese-teaching as a foreign language mainly concentrates on pronouncing, listening as well as daily communication. Nowadays'pronunciation teaching is not semantics and communication-oriented practices, but flooding of mechanized ones, thus, it makes the listening course bored. This thesis aims to solve those problems mentioned above starting with task-driven teaching, in a bid to use daily language materials in the teaching process. The paper will unfold how to process daily language materials and to program it as proper tasks in the elementary listening course of Chinese-teaching as a foreign language.
