The Preliminary Inquiry On Socialism Reformation Of Industry And Commerce Invested By Overseas Chinese Capitalists Of Guangzhou

In1949, the People＇Republic of China was founded, the establishment of a new democraticsociety. However the new democratic society is a transitional form. The party will lead people tocontinue the second revolution, namely socialism revolution, so the reformation to the capitalismenterprises is inevitable. Guangzhou is the political, economic and cultural center andtransportation hub in south China and the door of overseas Chinese in and out the motherland,there are many enterprises invested by overseas Chinese capitalists. They are important parts ofGuangzhou capitalism industry and commerce. So the title of this paper is the socialismreformation of enterprises invested by overseas Chinese capitalists of Guangzhou.Specifically,the reformation process of domestic capitalist industry and commerce is same to theprocess of enterprises invested by overseas Chinese capitalists. That is, from use to restrict, fromrestrict to reform, from primary state capitalism form to advanced state capitalism form untilfinished. Because of the particularity of the enterprise invested by overseas Chinese, nationalpolicy direction is equally and take care of appropriately, such as in personnel arrangement andfixed rate and so on.The another reform way of enterprise invested by overseas Chinese is to guide the investment ofoverseas Chinese.The early of the founding of the People＇Republic of China, diversifiedinvestment and management way is allowed in order to attract maximum investment fromoverseas Chinese. Later, with the establishment of overseas Chinese investment company ofpublic-private partnerships, the management business advantages of overseas Chinese capitalistsplayed a role and this promoted the development of industry and commerce of Guangzhou.Finally, with the overseas Chinese investment company gradually transform to national directmanagement, the relationship between overseas Chinese capitalists and enterprise managementwas been cut off completely.They are only the channels of government raise fund. Through theabove two measures, the socialism reformation of business invested by overseas Chinese wascompleted. What is the role of this reformation from the historical development processperspective and what is the problem of reformation are the main research contents of this article.This paper mainly be divided into four parts, the first part: The general situation of business invested by overseas Chinese of Guangzhou, including the enterprises established before theliberation and after the liberation.The second part: the reform process and related policy ofbusiness invested by overseas Chinese of Guangzhou,including reform policy to the old businessinvested by overseas Chinese and the policy to attract new investment by overseas Chinese. Thethird part: giving reform examples of different types business enterprise business invested byoverseas Chinese. The fourth part: the evaluation of socialism reformation of industry andcommerce invested by overseas Chinese capitalists of Guangzhou.
