Lessons Learned From Implementing Ethnic Integration In The Soviet Union And Revelation Of Dealing With Ethnic Problems In China

In view of domestic and international Ethnic problems in recent years, there has been a hot topic about integration in the domestic theory again. It is in urgent requirement for understanding of integration problems correctly whether should we advocate promoting integration at this stage in our country. It is advisable to choose the research of the integration theory and estimate the stage of national development. It will be benefit for us to observe and study how to deal with ethnic relations and ethnic problems. I use the research method that theoretical research proved through facts to study the theory of integration of marxism.In particular, we recognize the connotation of the integration theory that based on the analysis of the reasons in-depth, experiences and lessons learned of the Soviet Union to implement integration, so as to summarize the revelation about ethnic problems in our country. The miserable failure of implementing integration too early in Soviet Union is a valuable warning. Only If we pursue the goals of integration and neglect the basic task to promote the common development and prosperity of national firstly in the socialist period, and only if we pursue the goals of integration and speed up the process of that artificially, it will make the mistake of the Soviet Union inevitably. It alerts us that we must understand deeply that the historical process of integration is long and nature. We must abide by the inherent law of development of ethnic groups rather than promoting integration artificially. The common factors among ethnic groups will not increase naturally so as to create prerequisites for integration until realize the equality of political, economic and cultural of all ethnic groups and frequent contact between people, which is the marxist basic theory of solving the national problems. Our country is a multi-ethnic country and ethnic relations are very complex. The core of national work at this stage is to accelerate the development of the ethnic areas so as to eliminate the imbalance among ethnic development. Only on the basis of real equality of minority, realization of the unity of all ethnic groups, the common development of nation and the construction of the ethnic relation in socialism,the ethnic integration can be achieved. Using statistics and objective facts, we conclude that regional ethnic autonomy system is the effective way of realization of ethnic relations in equality, unity, common development and prosperity. It becomes the best choice of solving the national problems in our country. We should push the development of the ethnic regional autonomy system with the guides of common struggle together, common development and prosperity.
