From1918to1953, the relations were full of ups and downs between the SovietUnion and Yugoslavia. During the two world wars, the constrained by ideologicaldifferences, the kingdom of Yugoslavia during the period of hostility to Sovietcommunism, as well as the different attitude to the fascist forces between the SovietUnion and Yugoslavia, leading to the road of diplomatic relations between the twocountries is full of thorns. Although the kingdom of Yugoslavia chilled relations withthe Soviet government, but Tito’s communism maintained friendly relations between thecommunist party. During the second world war. This period, the group of German andItalian fascists had successive invasions of Yugoslavia and the Soviet union. At that time,the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia faced the common enemy, gradually to put aside theirdifferences, from trying to close to formal diplomatic relations; Later in the war, thecommunism of Yugoslavia and Soviet communism cooperated with each other againstthe enemy, finally won the ultimate victory of the Second World War. But during thewar, the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia also accumulated some differences andcontradictions between the two countries. Early post-war, the two countries lasted shortclose friendly relations, but when it comes to the interests of the state, a growingnumber of conflicts grew between the two countries. There was an irreconcilablecontradiction between the powers of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia socialistirreconcilable contradiction adhered to an independent, inevitably lead to conflictbetween the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia in1948.
