After Qing dynasty entered Shanhai pass in1644, the Qing government in order tostrengthen the ruling regime, has implemented the imperial examination, to win over HanChinese intellectuals to consolidate the Qing regime and the service, thereby eliminatingthe anti-Manchu feelings. At the same time, Qing government also allows for the practiceof the eight banners in the imperial examinations, but it was not stable until the earlyperiod of Kangxi dynasty, it was often stoped. Qing government, as required by rule,begins to establish the eight banners system of imperial examinations. In this process,Kang, Yong and Qian dynasties produced a large number of eight banners Manchuriaimperial scholars, these imperial scholars’ number have change in each dynasty all thethree dynasties, is not only different every dynasty, but different years when the imperialexamination was held, once people number have change, these changes were madeaccording to the Qing rulers need to test policy, also because of that the eight bannersManchuria imperial scholars number change presents its own characteristics. In addition,the eight banners Manchuria imperial scholars also have themselves’ own characteristics.But no matter how, the Manchuria imperial scholars has play a promoting role in theQing dynasty social development.This article relates and analyzes the Manchuria imperial scholars in three parts.Part I: First, a brief overview of eight banners Manchuria imperial examinationsystem, make us have a simple and clear understanding of eight banners Manchuriaimperial examination history. Then, it analyzes statistical number of the eight bannersManchuria imperial scholars in Kang Yong and Qian dynasties period, in order to makesure the accuracy of the number of the eight banners Manchuria imperial scholars, tounderstand its distribution characteristics.Part II: analyses the characteristics of the eight banners Manchuria imperial scholarsin Kang Yong and Qian period, including the number distribution of eight bannersManchuria imperial scholars in Kang Yong and Qian period, imperial scholars’ gradedegrees are low and most of them occupy important positions, and, their promotion arevery fast. the number distribution of eight banners Manchuria imperial scholars in Kang Yong and Qian period is uneven and the number fluctuates sharply, this is because theQing government have adopt different imperial examinations measures in differentdynasties. And the Manchuria imperial scholars’ grade degrees are low, posts are highand promotions are fast, all these reflect that the imperial examinations policy of Qingdynasty is different from other dynasties before.Part III: analyses the effect and influence of the eight banners Manchuria imperialscholars in Kang Yong and Qian period, and relate and analyzes from the cultureeducation, national fusion and handle government affairs three aspects. The eight bannersManchuria imperial scholars have positive effect to culture, education, nationalamalgamation and other aspects of the society Qing dynasty by means of cultural activity,educational activity and political activity, and so on.Finally, by this article, we can understand the characteristics of the eight bannersManchuria imperial scholars in Kang, Yong and Qian dynasties, and how did they effectand influenced the society of the Qing dynasty.
