China’s Rural Political Trust Loss Analysis

In the book of "political order in changeable society", Ellsworth Huntington has said that rural area is the root of both stability and revolution. What he has said is reasonable whether from the point of academic research or the point of international atmosphere. Nowadays, with the development of modernization, rural problems have become an important point which we must pay attention to. Our nation has made great effort in many aspects, such as the price of agricultural products, the safety problem of provisions produce, the policy of "agriculture, rural area and peasant" and the strategy of new countryside-construction. However, this also reveals the gravity of rural problems, such as forced Land expropriation, poverty caused by income gap, educational problems during rural area, group events, public security problems and so on. Since our country is in the period of transition in many aspects which all have delicate issues, therefore, we should reform step by step and we should develop the society gradually so that we can solve the above problems. The rural area problem is one of the above delicate problems. Rural economy is the base of national economy. In current situation, agriculture is both the foundation and support of economic development, the stability and progress of rural politics is the base of national system and the rural culture is an important part of spiritual civilization. Therefore, whether from academic research or the national policy, the rural problems, as it were, can be the focus of social economy, politics, culture and even the social problems.This article is based on rural area and will focus on villagers’ political credit, and try to know the absence of credit in rural area. As for the villagers’political credit, the academic research is not very enough, some scholars focus on the construction of theory and logical reasoning, some scholars reveal the social phenomenon by field investigations, and some other scholars analyze social credit from the point of psychology by introducing political culture. This article will refer on some of the above experience, but it will also breakthrough some of them, it will depend on political culture and empirical data, and also try to introduce methods of the ethics and psychology. And then it will look into the causes. Through investigation, we will find that the absence of political credit greatly influence the stability and development of rural area. During the constant political activities, the villagers’attitudes toward rural political system are unsure, intolerant and uncooperative. And also the villagers’political affection is indifferent, detachable and negative.This article reveals that we should make efforts from three aspects. From the point of villagers themselves, we should attach great importance to people’s interest remedy, and then make people feel guaranteed, safe and distinguished. Then from the point of rural political system, we should perfect the bylaw and regulations, and make the Villagers Committees and village cadre’s power operation supervised. Also, we should establish mechanism of liability. Besides, during the process of Villagers’Autonomy, the media of information delivery and political remedies are indispensable. At last, from the point of culture, we should press ahead the culture construction and boost the development of spiritual civilization, and also encourage the villagers’cooperation spirit so that we can achieve rural governance. Only by that, can the rural problems be solved. And then, the rural society will be stable, and the new countryside-construction will be even better in the aspects of developed economy, affluent life, civilized country customs, tidy country flavor and democratic management.
