For a long time, rural problems are the focus of the state and society. As a programmatic document of guiding national work, the No.1 document by the central government has been focusing on the "three dimensional rural issues" twelve years in a row. If we want to build socialism democratic country under the rule of law, make political become every citizen’s things, can’t do without the farmer’s political participation in China. As the carrier of farmers’ political participation, the villager autonomy is Primary-level democracy with Chinese characteristics in our country. It makes the villagers enjoy a number of democratic rights, and let villagers make full use of the system, find their own enthusiasm and creativity. Villager autonomy is the beneficial trial of our country towards democracy and modern. As the carrier of farmers’ political participation, the villager autonomy takes political aspiration and interest requirement of the most people in our country. It is the most main and effective manner of the farmers’ political participation ways. There are many scholars have made a brilliant achievement, appeared a lot of books and articles about the political participation. Because of the influence of different situation, farmers produced different values and political requirements, lead to their different political participation situation, with the development of the reform and opening-up and increasingly complex social environment. Therefore, the author thinks that can’t take farmers as a group to research, but according to the current state, to explore the different characteristics of farmers’ political participation.This article selects G village as the object of investigation which located in the centre of Henan. Using the method of questionnaire survey method and case interview to investigate the village, on the basis of fully understand the situation of the social and economic, and the composition of the village population. Introduction to the full text is divided into four parts:in the first part, the article description the research origin, methods, significance, and interpretation of the concept of core. The second part is mainly descriptive research, import from introduce the situation of the social and economic of the case village; introduce the different characteristics of villagers’ political participation. The third part is the summary of the research; it can be divided into elites, ordinary citizens and vulnerable groups, through the comparative method, according to the characteristics of the villagers’ political participation situation, combined with individual villager in the political, economic, and social status and other factors; then compare the similarities and differences of their political participation. The fourth part is mainly interpretive research; According to the third part presents the different characteristics, using the method of questionnaire survey method and case interview to explaining the mechanism behind the different characteristics of political participation, to improve the standard of peasants’political participation.
