The Study Of China’s Rural Women’s Political Participation In The Problem

In the rapid development of our democratic politics today and the increase of rural women’s politicalparticipation, the building of a new socialist countryside in China has been seriously hampered. In recentyears, although Chinese scholars giving enough attention to the issue of women’s political participation andalso has achieved a certain amount of research findings, the gap between the countries of Western is stillsignificant and the study of this special group of rural women is slightly insufficient, which is the source ofpower and one of the purposes of this writing. The rural women who are under the impact of the thousandsof years of traditional thinking in our country are bound in the ground field, plus the lack of policyprotection and the limitations of their own ability and quality, almost to seclude from the politics.Since the1980s, the implementation of the autonomy of villagers and the Fourth World Conference onWomen provides a prerequisite of upgrading of the rural women’s political participation. However, in theimplementation of specific policies, there are still some deviations which lead to the insufficient of theeffectiveness of enhancement. In this article, through the investigation of the problem analysis in theprocess of political participation of rural women and the cause of the problem analysis, find an effectiveway to solve the low political participation of rural women in China. This can not only solve the politicalaspirations of this group of rural women, but also enhance the development of China’s democratic politicsin the positive way.The architecture of the paper is established based on the above reasons. The essay is divided into fourmain parts: introduction, background explanation and significance, summarization of research study onrural women’s political participation both at home country and foreign country, and introduction of ideasand innovations of this study. The first chapter elaborates related concepts and the theory of rural women’spolitical participation. The second chapter is about the research and study on issues of non-mainstreamgender awareness in China, as well as unreasonable structure of rural women’s political participation, theunsmooth channel, and the ratio of political participation and low quality. The third chapter is the study tofind the reason for lack of political participation of rural women through the society, the mass media,organizational systems and home environment. The fourth chapter is aiming to provide suggestions ofenhancing the political participation of rural women based on the issue occurred in political participation of rural women in China, as well as the causes of problems.
